Our first night's sleep was in the food court at the airport. Thank you earplugs!!!KRAKOW
A staue of a dragon that spits fire. There is a legend about a dragon that Krakow is now known for.

This 'Happy' man was going to be replaced, but protests from the public proved him so well loved that he remained...and is now a popular symbol used on buttons, T-shirts, notepads....basically anything.

This only sight we saw in this port city (other than the infamous Reeperbahn) is this former Russian Submarine. If you think your house is small...

Was Willy Wonka filmed in Prague? It looks like the exact same place when Charlies going up in the glass elevator and looking over his house...the white houses with orange roofs...!

Good eye with the Willy Wonka thing. I actually didn't know the answer, so I googled it. The movie was filmed in Bavaria, which is a province in Germany----but it is very close to Prague...so gold star for you.
Yes I did find shoes that fit. I even bought a pair. I can't believe that I can just go into a store and they'll have my size. It's wicked!!! Good luck with your shoe hunt.
And the beers were huge! I think we had 4 or 5 one night, but Mat disagrees, because he simply can't remember (I think that proves my point). Anyhooo...we certainly didn't pay for all of them (I got the connections), so that's all that matters.
